mobileoccupationaltherapist.co.uk (this "website") is operated by Mobile Occupational Therapist. It is the shared website of a network of independent, HCPC-registered occupational therapists who provide home-visit occupational therapy in the areas we cover, each running their own practice. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

What this website does - and doesn't - provide

This website is the shared home of a UK network of independent occupational therapists, and a way to find and contact the one covering your area. The occupational therapy service itself - the assessment, advice, equipment recommendations and any report - is provided by the individual occupational therapist you book with, under their own professional registration and responsibility, not by Mobile Occupational Therapist directly.

This website does not provide medical or clinical advice. Nothing on this website is a substitute for an assessment carried out by a qualified occupational therapist, and content such as our blog and service pages is provided for general information only.

Booking a home visit

When you contact an occupational therapist through this website, any booking, fee and appointment arrangement is agreed directly between you and that occupational therapist. Pricing is set individually by each occupational therapist and confirmed with you before your visit - see our prices page for current guide pricing.

HCPC registration

Before an occupational therapist's page goes live on this website, we look their registration up with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on the HCPC's public register, and record that we have done so. Each therapist also confirms in writing that their registration is current and accurate, and undertakes to notify us of any change to their registration status.

That is a point-in-time check carried out at the time of listing. The register is maintained by the HCPC and not by us, and a practitioner's registration status can change at any time. We cannot continuously monitor the register, and we do not warrant that any listed practitioner's registration remains current at the moment you view their page or book a visit.

We therefore encourage you to verify any practitioner's registration for yourself before booking. It is free and takes a moment on the HCPC's public register. If you believe a listed practitioner is not currently registered, please tell us and we will suspend their listing while we look into it.

Each occupational therapist listed here is an independent practitioner, responsible for their own professional registration, indemnity insurance and clinical practice. They are not our employees or agents, and the clinical care they provide is a matter between them and you.

Using this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse it in any way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with other users' access to it. You must not submit false or misleading information through any form on this site.

Intellectual property

The content of this website - including text, design and the Mobile Occupational Therapist name and logo - is owned by or licensed to Mobile Occupational Therapist and may not be copied or reproduced without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Liability

We take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is always complete, error-free or available. To the extent permitted by law, Mobile Occupational Therapist is not liable for the clinical services provided by the independent occupational therapists listed on this site, which are their own professional responsibility.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
