About Mobile Occupational Therapist
Mobile Occupational Therapist connects people with independent, HCPC-registered occupational therapists who visit you at home – booked directly, with no call centre and no agency in between.
Who we are
Mobile Occupational Therapist is a small UK network of independent occupational therapists. Each area we cover has one dedicated occupational therapist, HCPC-registered and checked before their page goes live, who runs their own caseload and sets their own fair pricing. When you get in touch, you deal directly with the occupational therapist who visits you – not a booking agency, and not a call centre.
We're growing area by area. Where an area doesn't have a local occupational therapist confirmed yet, that's simply a stage in the process, not a gap in service – our office will always let you know when local cover opens up. See our areas we cover page for the current list.
How we work
Every occupational therapist on Mobile Occupational Therapist is an independent practitioner, not an employee. They set their own prices, manage their own diary, and every enquiry reaches them directly. What we provide is the infrastructure around them: a professional profile, clear published pricing, local information for the areas they cover, and an easy way for you to find and contact them.
Before any occupational therapist appears on the site, we check their HCPC registration is current and genuine. If you ever want to verify this yourself, you can check any UK occupational therapist's registration on the HCPC's public register.
Our content standards
Mobile Occupational Therapist publishes practical information about occupational therapy services and conditions to help people understand their options before they book. Our service and condition pages are written to describe what a home visit involves honestly and clearly, and are reviewed for clinical sensibility – plain language, realistic descriptions of what occupational therapy can and can't do, and clear signposting to a GP or NHS service where a medical concern falls outside what a home visit can address.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no page promises a specific outcome or guarantees results. Content is intended to help you understand what occupational therapy support looks like in practice, not to replace an individual assessment by a qualified occupational therapist or other healthcare professional.
If you spot anything on the site that looks unclear, outdated or incorrect, please contact us with the page and the detail you'd like us to check.
Are you an occupational therapist?
We're always looking for HCPC-registered occupational therapists to cover new areas – your own exclusive territory, your own pricing, and nothing to pay at the application stage.
